Scope:

The course is designed to meet the needs of those who use small, open powerboats in carrying out their duties at work, or for recreational activities, i.e. sailing, sub-aqua diving and water skiing.

Objective:

This course provides a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats.

  • Launch and recovery
  • Preparation of boat
  • Boat handling
  • Picking up and securing to mooring buoy
  • Leaving and coming alongside
  • Being towed
